Intelligent Charge on the Go
The BCDC Alpha50 R can charge from the vehicle and solar at the same time. Its ultra-efficient built-in MPPT solar regulator helps maximise solar input whenever the sun is available.
Green Power Priority® prioritises solar charging to help minimise load on the alternator and reduce fuel use.
Unlike standard DC chargers, the BCDC Alpha50 R adjusts its charge mode in real time to meet the battery’s needs, helping maximise efficiency and extend battery lifespan.
Compatible with common battery types, including lithium and heated lithium, Nomad50 also supports over-the-air updates to help keep the system future ready.
Input current limiting makes Nomad50 well suited to hybrid and electric vehicle applications.
Start Battery Support
Nomad50 can use excess solar power to automatically top up the start battery once the auxiliary battery is full.
The BCDC Alpha50 R also features Start Battery Recovery, allowing a flat start battery to be recovered in just 15 minutes at the touch of a button.

Connect your essentials quickly using easy-access genuine Anderson™ plugs. Whether it is a fridge, solar panel or accessory, your system is ready when you are.
- 10A Anderson™ SB50 output: for low-power devices such as USB sockets, 12V cigarette sockets, standard fridges, lighting, pumps or awnings.
- 25A Anderson™ SB50 output: for medium-power devices such as large 12V fridges, small ovens or compact compressors.
- 50A Anderson™ SB50 output: for high-power devices drawing up to 50A, such as 12V fridges, large compressors or electric jacks.
Advanced Monitoring
Track your system performance in real time through RedVision, including battery state of charge, remaining run time and input/output current from your smartphone.
The LED interface on the BCDC charger also provides clear charge status and fault indication.
Built to Expand
The integrated fuse block makes it easier to add more gear while keeping your dual battery system wiring neat, protected and ready for future upgrades.
Featuring 6 x 30A blade fuses and 4 x 100A MIDI fuses, the 10-way combo fuse block supports higher-power devices and allows for easier maintenance and expansion.
