REDARC 12V 100A DC-DC Alpha R-Bus Battery Charger (BCDC12100R)

Always charged, never stranded. The REDARC BCDC Alpha100 R is a 12V, 100A DC-DC battery charger for 4x4s, campers and caravans. It charges your auxiliary battery from the vehicle's alternator and from solar, and its Green Power Priority™ uses solar first to take load off the alternator and save fuel.

The included Smart Battery Monitor lets the charger tell the difference between current going into the battery and current going to your loads. If the charge current is set below maximum, the spare current powers your loads directly, so the battery works less and lasts longer.

INTELLIGENT CHARGING

The BCDC Alpha100 R adjusts its charge mode in real time to suit the battery, working as a battery manager rather than a basic charger. It can recover a flat start battery and revive a fully flattened lithium battery, and once the auxiliary battery is full it uses excess solar to top up the start battery.
