Which style of rack?
Expedition: sides all round, so you can stack your gear right up to the edge. Better support, security and more tie-down points.
Flat (this rack): the same as the expedition rack but without the surrounding top rail. Good for roof tents, easier access to your load and carrying long or oversized items, and it keeps your vehicle lower than an expedition rack.
Tent: a flat rack with a supporting rail across the front, which guides branches over your tent or load and gives more general protection.
Half: a shorter rack, for Defender pickups or when you have less to carry.
Every MCB rack is hand made in Yorkshire from steel tube, zinc primed and powder coated (or galvanised, if you choose that finish). Each one comes with simple cross bars to strap your load to, and you can add a mesh base for smaller or odd-shaped items.
