The LOF POWERspec heavy duty solid mass flywheel (SMF) kit fits all Land Rover Discovery 2 Td5 (1998–2004) and Defender Td5 90/110/130 (1998–2006). It replaces a worn Valeo dual mass flywheel for less than a new DMF, and LOF designed it to be more reliable and longer lasting.
POWERspec is the version for working trucks used for towing, green laning and off-roading, rated for a stage 2 map at 450Nm / 200bhp. It bolts onto the crank with no modification, and LOF tested it for 12 months with independent Land Rover specialists in the UK and Europe before release.
Same weight as original: The LOF solid flywheel weighs the same as the original dual mass flywheel.
Matched damping: The 3-stage pre-dampened sprung driven plate is designed to match the original Valeo DMF damping.
No modification: Bolts straight onto the crank and comes with new flywheel bolts.
Standard release bearing: Allows a standard length FTC5200 release bearing or the LOF EXTREMEspec heavy duty bearing.
HD release bearing: Supplied with the LOF EXTREMEspec heavy duty release bearing.
Long tested: 12 months of testing with independent Land Rover specialists before release.
