Replacement clutch fork pivot for Land Rover Defender and Discovery. The pivot ball is the fixed anchor point on the gearbox bell housing against which the clutch fork operates.
The pivot wears over time, particularly if the fork bush has been missing or worn. A worn pivot causes imprecise clutch fork movement and accelerates release bearing wear. Best replaced alongside the fork bush any time the bell housing is removed.
