The LOF ROADspec Brake kit is designed for road going Land Rovers.

Drums and Shoes are of an ‘OEM’ spec, made to the same Quality and Tolerances as Original Genuine Land Rover brake components.

ROADspec kits come complete with fitting kit, including fasteners, Pins, anti-rattle shims and the correct grease where necessary! Drums: Plain silver coated finish. Pads: OE Quality Organic friction material.

LOF Series 2, 2A & 3 10″ REAR brake drum set by LOF Brakes.

LOF like to do everything better, and lets be honest the Series Brake drums available on the market currently are terrible, so they set out to make the best!

2 major things they corrected in our kit:

  1. The Concentricity or ‘Roundness’ of our drums, we managed to make the 10″ Series drums to a maximum tolerance of 40 microns  concentricity and 50 microns run out, this is tighter than any manufacturer of brake drums ever!

  2. The Shape and precision match of the Brake shoes to suit the drums, with a brake compound designed to avoid against squeaking and juddering! All Series owners will know what we mean! In addition, they fitted the shoes with a solid correctly shaped post rivet for spring retention, you will know cheaper brands have a straight cut rivet that tends to fall out!

For complete transparency we would like to inform you that our LOF Series 3 Drums and shoes are made in Scandinavia, Europe, with a keen eye on quality!
